![]() ![]() We always take our son, obviously, and our dog with us when we venture out of the city. My husband and I enjoy driving as often as we can. Again, I truly hope that you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoy taking in all that Arizona has to offer. It should honestly be a requirement for residents and visitors to sit back and enjoy the view because if you do not, you'll miss so much beauty. But nonetheless, I have seen some beautiful nature, but Arizona's mountains are just breathtaking. I've traveled the world, well to Australia and the Bahamas, but that still counts, right. One of my favorite things about Arizona are the uniquely beautiful rock formations. ![]() I know that sounds slightly odd but Arizona is just stunning, even at a gas station. A few of them were taken at a gas station between Tucson and Phoenix. The photos I have for you today were taken in January as we entered Arizona from New Mexico. ![]() What can I say I love to take pictures, especially pictures of this spectacular country. You can only image how many pictures I have from that trip, over 1,000. That is a whole other in and of itself, so we'll skip that for now. Needless to say we drove, yes from Phoenix, Arizona, as I do not fly and have not since 2000. First we headed to Atlanta, Georgia to visit my Dad and then we headed down to Florida for a visit with my Mom. This past December we took a family road trip, my husband, our son, our dog and of course myself. Well, by now most of you already know that we love to travel, even if it is only within the beautiful state of Arizona. I hope you find my photos to be as beautiful as I do. Unfortunately my photos do not do these rainbows justice, they were so beautiful. I was absolutely stunned when I saw this, I have never seen a double rainbow before. Other than that, I only cropped two of the photos as I was trying to snap as quickly as possible, rainbows can disappear rather quickly. But with these, I chose to blank out the name on the building that is in the photos, the only way I know how is though Photoshop. I typically do not edited my photos unless they need to be cropped or what have you. The second rainbow is a little bit more difficult to see as it is lighter but if you click on any one of the photos you will see it much better. They are photos of two rainbows, one above the other. Today I thought I would share a few photos that I was lucky to have captured. From here on, I will do my best to post at least five times a week if not more. First I'd like to apologize that it has been a few days since my last post, it has been quit hectic around here lately. ![]() Hello to my readers and those of you who have happened by. Feel free to leave comments where you see fit and if you know what species these beautiful birds are please let me know. I felt so peaceful and happy as I watched these beautiful birds relaxing on this beautiful tree enjoying each others company. The only way I can describe the feeling I was having at this moment was peace. I immediately grabbed my camera and took a few pictures. We were on the On-Auk-Mor Indian Reservation in Scottsdale when I saw this peaceful beauty. I am not 100% on this and did all the research I could on them but came up empty handed. The pictures I have for you all today are of what I believe to be Doves. I am happily back up and running and continue with my blog. Again, I apologize to those of you who read my blog. So needless to say, my computer was completely inoperable for the last week. The sneaky little virus somehow downloaded itself to my computer despite my efforts. I knew my ActiveX was up to date and tried desperately to get out of there. A completely different website had come up and as I was trying to get off the site another pop up came up stating I needed to download an update for ActiveX. I was on a jobbing site and had found a job that peaked my interest therefore I clicked the link. I don't know how this happened as I have adequate software and am extremely cautious. After my last post I ended up getting a Trojan and Worm on my computer. So, I'm going to start this post off with a quick apology, again, and explanation for my lack of blogging this past week. ![]()
